SCOTCH EGGS



Scotch egg is made of hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and coated with breadcrumbs. It is also the favorite traditional recipe in British. So yummy and it is also good for picnic snack.

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes to 1 hour

INGREDIENTS:
500g sausage meat
1 tbsp.  Worcestershire sauce
6 large hard boiled eggs
½ cup flour
1 extra egg beaten
1 cup fine bread crumbs
Few drops Tabasco
Salt and pepper

PROCEDURE:
1. Mix sausage meat with sauces.
2. Divide into 6 equal portions.
3. Dust the eggs lightly with the flour seasoned with salt and pepper mixture pressing and molding on well.
4. Brush the egg with the beaten egg and roll in the bread crumbs until well covered.
5. Chill for at least an hour.
6. In a pan, add oil and heat then deep fry each egg in hot oil until golden brown.
7. Drain on paper towels.
8. Cool and chill.
9. Serve with cold with salad.
