Dark chocolate champorado is a Philippine
cuisine. This is sweet, made of sticky rice, milk and sugar.

1cup risotto or any short grain rice
1 bar good quality Swiss dark chocolate
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups milk
½ cup sugar
Whipped cream for topping

In a sauce pot, preferably non- stick, mix cream and milk and bring to a simmer.

Add sugar and rice and stir continuously while gently simmering till rice is cooked and consistency is similar to runny porridge.

Add chocolate pieces and stir until well mixed. Adjust consistency by mixing in hot milk.

Serve at once with whipped cream on top.
