800G pata (pork leg), cut into serving portions
6 cloves garlic, crushed (2tsp.)
1 laurel leaf
1 can (234g) pineapple chunks
4 saba bananas, sliced and fried
¼ cup bulaklak ng saging

Clean pata. Add 2 cups water, vinegar, garlic and laurel leaf. Boil until tender. Add more water if needed.
Add remaining ingredients and season with 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 2tsp. iodized salt,  2 tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tsp. peppercorns. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until cooked.
