CHUNKY CHICKEN PINA



INGREDIENTS:
1/2kilo chicken breast, deboned and cut into strips
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, sliced
1small (100g) singkamas (turnip), cut into cubes
1 stalk celery, diced diagonally
1 can pineapple chunks, drained (reserved syrup)
1tbsp.cornstarch, dissolved in pineapple chunks syrup
1 stalk green onion, cut into 1” pieces
1 tsp. sesame oil (optional)

PROCEDURE:
Season chicken with 1 tsp. iodized salt ¼ tsp. pepper and 1tbsp.soy sauce. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp. cornstarch. Set aside.
Sauté garlic, onions and chicken. Cook until light brown.
Add turnips, celery, pineapple chunks and dissolved cornstarch.
Season with ¼ tsp. iodized salt, 1-1/2 tbsp. soy sauce and tsp. sugar.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Add green  onions and sesame oil.
