TOMATO AND PASTA SOUP

INGREDIENTS:
1 small onion chopped (1/3 cup)
1/4k ground beef
1 large carrot, diced (1 cup)
1 can (227g) tomato sauce
120g pasta elbow macaroni
 1tbsp.cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tbsp. water
14 stalks green onion, chopped (1/4 cup)


HOW TO COOK:

1. Sauté onions and beef in oil. Add 4 cups water and simmer until meat is tender.

2. Add carrots and macaroni, and then simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce.  Season with 1 tsp.
iodized salt ½ tsp. pepper add 1 1/2tsp. sugar. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

3.Stir in dissolved cornstarch. Cook for 5 minutes, or until thick. Top with spring onions just before serving.
